Semi Truck Accident Causes 20 Car Pileup on I-80 Near Rawlins WY

Author: WAMSUTTER, WY – One person was killed in a 20-car pileup on Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Rock Springs, Wyoming on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. The semi truck accident happened about 9:00 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-80 about 3 miles west of Wamsutter near the Rasmussen Road interchange.
Jack-knifed semi truck triggered a fatal 20-vehicle pileup on Interstate 80 in Wamsutter, WY between Rawlins and Rock Springs, WY.
Wamsutter is located in the southern part of Wyoming about 40 miles west of Rawlins, about 158 miles southwest of Casper and about 190 miles northwest of Cheyenne.
