WEEDSPORT, NY – A truck accident shut down a section of the New York State Thruway Wednesday morning, May 5, 2010, in Cayuga County, NY. The rollover collision occurred near Exit 40 on the highway north of the city of Weedsport and blocked eastbound traffic lanes for several hours. The accident area is in the central section of the state between the cities of Rochester and Syracuse, 126 miles east of Buffalo, NY and 165 miles north of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

BETHPAGE, NY – On April 7, 2010, two people died after a truck driver ran a red-light and hit their car Wednesday evening in Nassau County, New York. The deadly truck accident occurred in the town of Bethpage, NY at the intersection of Hicksville Road and Central Park Avenue. The accident area is on Long Island, in the eastern section of the state, 34 miles from Manhattan, NY and 52 miles from Newark, New Jersey.

CLAVERACK, NY – A man died from injuries he suffered in a head-on collision with a flatbed truck Thursday morning. The truck accident happened on Route 9H/23 near the town of Claverack, New York, in Columbia County. The area is in the far east-central section of the state, 35 miles south of Albany, NY and 119 miles north of New York City.
