Beer Truck Slams into SUV, Kills Three in Minnesota

Author: VERMILLION TOWNSHIP, MN – Three people died when a beer truck slammed into a SUV Monday afternoon, April 26, 2010, in Dakota County, Minnesota. The truck accident happened on County Road 47/Northfield Blvd in Vermillion Township near Hampton, southeast of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan region. The area is in the southeast section of the state, 124 miles northwest of La Crosse, Wisconsin and 123 miles north of Mason City, Iowa.
MN State Patrol and emergency personnel responded to the truck accident site. EMTs found that the three people in the SUV suffered fatal injuries and all were pronounced dead at the scene.
At around 12:20 p.m. Monday afternoon 30 year old Trevor Hubbard of Northfield, MN was driving a semi trailer truck southwest on County Road 47 in Dakota County, MN. The semi truck bearing a Bud Lite logo held a cargo of beer and belonged to College City Beverage of Dundas, MN. ... Read Full Story

Truck Driver Injured in Minnesota Truck Accident
WINONA COUNTY, MN – A truck driver was injured when his trailer truck crashed and burst into flames Monday, March 29, on a highway in Winona County, Minnesota. The truck accident happened on Interstate 90 in Warren Township near Wyattville, MN. The accident area is in the far southeast section of the state near the Wisconsin border, 130 miles southeast of Minneapolis-St. Paul and 310 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois.
The 18 wheeler was completely destroyed by the fire after the truck accident and most of the cargo was lost, with a few blocks of cheese strewn around the accident site.
Shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday morning, March 29, 58 year old Glen L. Boyer of Le Mars, Iowa was driving a semi trailer truck loaded with bricks of cheese east on Interstate 90. ... Read Full Story
