UPS Tractor Trailer Truck Jackknives on Florida I-4 Bursts into Flames

FAIRVIEW SHORES, FL – A UPS semi trailer truck crashed and burst into flames early Friday morning, August 27, on a highway in Orange County, Florida. Two people were injured in the truck accident that occurred on Interstate 4 in Fairview Shores just north of the city of Orlando. The accident area is in the central east section of the state about 90 miles northeast of Tampa, FL and about 137 miles south of Jacksonville, FL.

The semi cab of the truck burst into flames, almost completely destroying the SUV.

At around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning 39 year old Craig T. Roy from the Jacksonville area was driving a semi trailer truck west on Interstate 4 through Orange County, FL. One unidentified passenger rode along in the cab of the semi. The semi truck belonged to UPS and was pulling two trailers loaded with a full cargo of mail parcels and shipping packages. Veteran Deputy Dies in Florida Truck Accident

LEHIGH ACRES, FL – A veteran Deputy in the Collier County Sheriff’s Office died from injuries he received Tuesday morning in a truck accident in Lee County, Florida. The truck collision happened on State Road 82 in Lehigh Acres, FL, east of the Fort Myers and Coral Gables metro region. The accident area is in the southeast section of the state near the Gulf of Mexico, 134 miles northwest of Boca Raton and 129 miles southeast of Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL.

Local emergency services personnel responded to the scene of the truck accident, but were unable to save Mr. Rahmings. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck collision.

Shortly before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, 68 year old Leroy Rahmings of Lehigh Acres, FL, was driving a 1995 Dodge pickup truck north on Blackstone Drive in Lehigh Acres, FL. Two Die After Fiery Truck Accident on Florida Highway

SOUTH BAY, FL – Two people died last Saturday morning from injuries they suffered in a truck accident in Palm Beach County, Florida south of Lake Okeechobee. The fiery crash happened on U.S. Highway 27 in South Bay, Florida near the border with Broward County. The area is in the southern section of the state 160 miles southeast of Orlando and 78 miles northwest of Miami, FL.

After crashing into the rear of the 18 wheeler, Mr. Colon's Chrysler became stuck under the trailer of the truck. Authorities report that the smaller vehicle exploded and then burst into flames, engulfing the car and the two victims.
