July 26,2009 – KTCT News 8 ABC reports that travel on Interstate 70 has come to a standstill after a truck collides with an overpass at mile market 97 in Silt.

As you can see from the following photo the crash caused significant damage to the bridge.

No one is being allowed to drive over it, or under it. Eastbound traffic has backed up for several miles.

Westbound drivers are being told to get off the interstate in New Castle or Silt and take Highway 6.
