EL PASO, TX – A 32-year old truck driver of a Toyota Tundra, who allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol (DWI), killed two teenagers and injured another late Friday night, July 15, on loop 375. Police say that alcohol and speed contributed to the crash.

Jeremy Weethee, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office who ruled his death an accident due to massive blunt-force trauma.
DALLAS, TX – A large gas drilling truck from Badger Corporation of Pittsburgh went left of center on Dallas Pike Road shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, sideswiping an Ohio County School bus carrying three students home from school.
No students or drivers were reported injured at the time of the incident, officials said. The rear bumper on the bus and the truck’s wheels were damaged in the accident.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A truck accident caused a semi trailer to spill its cargo Monday night, February 28, on a highway in Nueces County, Texas. The rollover crash closed down a section of U.S. Highway 77 at the juncture with Interstate 37, just west of the Gulf of Mexico in southeast Texas. The truck accident happened on the western edge of the Corpus Christi metro region in the neighborhood of Calallen, about 140 miles east of Laredo, TX and about 232 miles south of Houston, TX.
During the Monday afternoon commuter rush, truck driver Dan Thompson was driving a semi trailer truck through southeast Texas. Mr. Thompson reportedly has been driving large commercial trucks for over 37 years. HAMSHIRE, TX – A truck accident Sunday morning, August 29, caused a hazardous chemical spill which will require a highway in Jefferson County, Texas to be closed for days. The collision between a semi tanker and a pickup truck also forced some area residents to evacuate their homes near the accident site on Interstate 10 near the city of Hamshire. The truck accident area is about 65 miles east of Houston in the southeast section of the state, about 86 miles northeast of Galveston, TX and about 81 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Early Sunday morning 30 year old Branden Swiney of Orange, TX was driving a semi tanker truck east on Interstate 10 in Jefferson County, TX. The tanker of the truck was carrying about 8,500 gallons of Isobutane, a hazardous chemical that can be extremely flammable. According to officials the chemical in the tanker was in both liquid and gas form. The chemical is toxic and can be deadly if inhaled and cause serious burns if it comes in contact with skin. ... CAMPBELLTON, TX – An Americanos tour bus carrying an estimated 35 people traveling towards Matamoros, Mexico, flipped and landed on its right side. The accident, which killed 2 people and injured 18, happened Tuesday in Campbellton, Texas, on Interstate 37, about 50 miles south of San Antonio in the southern region of Texas.
Emergency personnel, including fire trucks and ambulances, were on the scene. CNN affiliate KSAT reports that most of the injured are being transported to San Antonio’s Brooke Army Medical Center and University Hospital. The names of those killed were not released.
