FOXBORO, MA – A semi tanker truck on its way to deliver jet fuel to an airport in Rhode Island flipped over and spilled its cargo on an interstate in Massachusetts early Sunday morning on June 27. The truck accident occurred on Interstate 95 at Route 495 in Norfolk County, MA near the city of Foxboro. The area is in the southeast section of the state, about 32 miles south of Boston and about 22 miles north of Providence, Rhode Island.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning, 36 year old Richard Williams of Manchester, New Hampshire was driving a 2006 FrueHauf semi tanker truck south on Interstate 95. The tanker was carrying thousands of gallons of jet fuel and the driver was on his way to deliver the fuel to T.F. Green International Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island.
