Tuxedo, NY – A semi truck driver traveling south on the I-87 near Tuxedo New York. was killed on Monday night, September 9, after crashing into a minivan. The victim, identified as 35-year old Quadir Holman, was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Two people in the minivan were also treated for unknown injuries.
LEROY, NY – An 18 wheeler crashed into two passenger cars, then tipped over, burst into flames and dumped its load of gravel onto Route 19 in LeRoy, NY on Friday, September 30, 2011.
TROY, N.Y. – Troy police are looking for a man who killed a child in a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred in the City of Troy on Monday, May 30.
The city of Troy is located about 7 miles North of Albany, the state capital.
The child was identified as 6-year old Jahvion Perez who was struck in front of 395 10th Street around 7:45 p.m. Monday night.
The child was taken to Albany Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say dozens of people watched as 21-year-old Roy Sanders struck the child before fleeing in his pickup truck. ... Read More
UTICA, NY – A driver was injured Thursday afternoon, December 30, in a rollover tractor trailer accident on a highway in Oneida County, New York State. The semi truck lost its load in the single vehicle crash which occurred on the New York Thruway, where it passes between the cities of Westmoreland and Utica, NY. The multi vehicle crash was set off when one of the tractor trailers jackknifed on the New York Thruway near the city of Van Buren, NY. BUFFALO, NY – A highway worker was killed Tuesday morning, November 16, when the vehicle he was in was hit by a semi trailer on an interstate in Erie County, New York. A second worker was injured in the deadly truck accident which occurred in the city of Buffalo, on Interstate 190 south of the exit to Smith Street. Early Tuesday morning 27 year old David Baldi of Hamburg, NY was working as part of a highway crew. The four person team was repainting the stripes on the Niagara section of Interstate 190, also known as the New York Thruway. The crew was in the right lane of the interstate, which was closed to traffic. The painting truck was lit and several warning arrow boards were in use to alert drivers to the work crew.
