Three Family Members Killed in Kentucky Truck Accident
HENDERSON, KY – Three family members were killed Friday morning, June 18, when their passenger van collided with a semi trailer truck in Henderson County, Kentucky. The truck accident occurred in the city of Henderson, KY at the juncture of Kentucky State Highways 525 and 1299. The accident area is in the north central of the state near the border with Indiana, about 128 miles west of Louisville, KY and about 12 miles south of Evansville, IN.

Kentucky State Police responded to the site of the truck accident and closed down a two mile section of the KS 525 Bypass at the US 41 Alternate, rerouting traffic to US 60.

One Person Dies in Kentucky Truck Accident
MADISON COUNTY, KY – One person is dead after an early morning truck accident, May 10, 2010, on a highway in Madison County, Kentucky. The collision between the semi trailer truck and a van occurred early Monday morning on Interstate 75 near mile marker 93 between the communities of Richmond and Boonesboro. The accident area is south of the Lexington metro region in the central section of the state, 130 miles southwest of Huntington, West Virginia and 148 miles north of Knoxville, Tennessee.

The impact of the rear-end truck accident crushed the back of the van and sent it across the interstate and into a ditch at the side of the highway.

Driver Arrested After Kentucky Truck Accident
SPOTTSVILLE, KY – A driver was arrested after a truck accident Friday, April 16, 2010, in Henderson County, Kentucky. The accident happened in a work construction zone on a Highway 60 bridge in the village of Spottsville, KY. The accident area is near the border with Indiana, 19 miles southeast of Evansville, IN and 136 miles west of Louisville, KY.

The 18 wheeler crashed into the concrete safety barriers the construction crews had erected. Two workers were in the area having lunch but neither was injured in the truck accident.

Harkey of Prescott, Michigan was driving a semi truck with a 53 foot trailer for Marine Transport Inc., a boat hauling company based in Au Gres, MI. Deadly Truck Accident Kills 11 People on Kentucky Highway
MUNFORDVILLE, KY – A deadly truck accident killed eleven people Friday, March 26, on a highway in Hart County, Kentucky, when a truck slammed into a 15 passenger van carrying a family to a wedding in Iowa. The truck accident happened on Interstate 65 near the town of Munfordville, KY. The accident area is in the southwest central section of the state, 75 miles south of Louisville, KY and 105 miles northeast of Nashville, Tennessee.

Kentucky State Police troopers and local emergency personnel quickly responded to the truck accident scene. Ten people in the van suffered fatal blunt force trauma injuries.

Truck Accident Kills Man on Kentucky Interstate
CORBIN, KY – A man suffered fatal injuries after his pickup truck was struck by a tractor trailer truck Monday night in Whitley County, Kentucky. The truck accident happened on Interstate 75 near Corbin, KY. The area of the collision is in the far southeast section of the state about 30 miles north of the Tennessee border, 90 miles south of Lexington, KY and 86 miles north of Knoxville, TN.

After a preliminary investigation of the fatal truck accident, authorities have ruled out drug or alcohol use as being a factor. There were no reports that his trailer truck malfunctioned.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday night 65 year old Larry W. Rogers of Corbin, KY was traveling south on Interstate 75 in Whitley County in a 1996 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck. A few minutes later he stopped his pickup and was straddling the shoulder and the right lane of the interstate near mile marker 26.
