HAYWARD, CA. – A 26′ flatbed truck carrying plastic chairs and oxygen tanks, traveling eastbound on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge struck a wall and burst into flames.

On Oct 9, 2009, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge dismissed the murder charges against Marcos Costa, the 44 year old driver of the semi truck from Everett, MA involved in the Angeles Crest truck accident on April 1, 2009, but the charges were reinstated after an appellate court ruling.
