Arizona Truck Accident Causes Explosions and Power Outages
CHANDLER, AZ – A truck accident in Maricopa County, Arizona Wednesday, April 21, 2010, caused several small explosions and power outages when a semi slammed into an electrical power box. The collision between the 18 wheeler and a minivan occurred in Chandler, AZ at the juncture of Alma School Road and Ray Road. The accident area is in the Phoenix metro region in the center of the state, 174 miles east of Blythe, California and 370 miles west of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Phoenix Bus Crashes On I-10; Rollover Claims 6 Lives
PHOENIX, AZ — Six people were killed in a deadly bus crash at 5:27 a.m Friday morning when a bus carrying 21 passengers rolled over after hitting another vehicle. The bus driver lost control and veered to the left, then to the right and off the road, rolling over at least once while several people were ejected from the bus, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves. The crash occurred on Interstate 10 about 25 miles south of Phoenix.

Fifteen of the 21 bus passengers were transported to hospitals, including five who suffered serious injuries and were taken by helicopter.
Aerial video showed emergency crews from several agencies breaking out windows, trying to remove victims from the mangled bus. Medics set up a triage area on the freeway to treat the injured. A total of five medical helicopters were called out to the scene. ... Read Full Story
Truck Collides With School Bus Near Phoenix AZ
MESA, AZ — A school bus carrying 10 children was hit by a utility truck early Monday Morning. The accident occurred at VAl Vista and University in MESA, Arizona.
According to MyFoxPhoenix, the children appeared to have sustained minor injuries, but five of the children reported that they felt like their back had been hurt.
The driver of the truck was injured and was taken to a valley hospital.
The students attend a Charter school near Ray and Val Vista.

Arizona Truck Accident Rollover Kills Texas Woman
Picacho Peak, Arizona – Shari Wood Linder, a 50-year-old woman from Quinlan, Texas was traveling with her husband, 53-year-old Ricky Keith Linder, from Blythe, Calif., to El Paso, Texas when the big rig tractor trailer she was driving rolled over igniting into flames.
The trucking accident occurred on July 24th at approximately 9 a.m. MST near Picacho Peak on Interstate 10, which is the main route between Phoenix and Tucson. The highway was closed to traffic for more than four hours.
The big rig, owned by Saia Trucking, was hauling two trailers of automotive and cleaning products that included aerosol cans when it suddenly rolled over on the Arizona Highway.
Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety say 53-year-old Ricky Keith Linder was listed in stable condition at University Medical Center in Tucson with non life-threatening injuries.
