DALLAS, TX – A Budweiser semi truck traveling eastbound on Interstate 20 near Weatherford, Texas was involved in a collision with an SUV and 5 other vehicles that left 10 people injured. The Dallas semi truck accident occurred near the 408 exit. The big rig swerved through the cables that divide the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-20 into the westbound lanes of traffic. This caused an SUV traveling eastbound next to the tractor-trailer to follow it into the westbound lanes where they collided with 5 other vehicles.

The Budweiser semi truck jack-knifed in the westbound lanes causing the other vehicles traveling in the westbound lanes to crash into it. Ten people were injured in the truck accident and were transported by EMS (Emergency Medical Services) crews to hospitals in the local area for treatment. They were reported to be in stable condition.

Weatherford Police Officers diverted traffic onto the 413 exit in Hudson Oaks while cleanup crews worked to clear the wreckage. The highway was closed down for almost three hours as a result of the semi truck accident. Police are conducting an investigation into the cause of the multiple vehicle accident.
