Semi Truck Accident Near Suprise Arizona Kills Two Teenage Boys
SUPRISE, AZ – Two teenage boys heading to a hockey game in Glendale were killed on Monday, March 13, when the vehicle they were in collided with a semi truck near Loop 303 and Olive Avenue. The accident happened about 7p.m. near a railroad crossing.

According to DPS, the boys were driving in a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero headed east on Olive Avenue when the car entered the intersection at Loop 303 and collided with the big rig truck.

The two victims were identified as Donald Todd Austin, the driver of the car, and Brendan Parrish, a passenger. Both were students at Shadow Ridge High School in Suprise.
AZ Central reports:
The impact was so intense that investigators had to use the car’s VIN number to determine its make and model.
Surprise resident Richard Barrett, 55, was driving the Bashas’ truck. He was treated at a hospital and released, DPS said.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
