Shortly after 12 noon on Thursday an unidentified truck driver from Delaware was driving an extra wide semi trailer truck south on Interstate 495 on the outer loop that goes around Washington, DC. The truck accident was set off when another vehicle suddenly moved into the traffic lane occupied by the oversized truck. The driver of the semi trailer veered to the right to avoid colliding with the vehicle but hit a Ford F-450. The impact caused the truck driver to lose control of the trailer truck.
