Missouri Truck Accident On Missouri 76 East of Branson

Branson, Missouri – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Taney County. The Highway Patrol reported that the car and truck accident occurred around 8:13 a.m.  Friday July 23rd on Missouri 76, about two miles east of Branson.

One of the two people involved n the accident was Branson resident Rita Gravatt, 60, who suffered serious injuries. It is reported that she was wearing a seat belt. She was airlifted to Cox South hospital in Springfield.

The other person was a passenger in the truck, Kirbyville resident Kevin Barker, 28, who suffered minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson.

The truck was driven by Kirbyville resident Daryl Sims, 19. Sims was not injured.

Gravatt was going eastbound in a Cadillac when she crossed the center line and strucking Sims’ Ford F-250 head-on, the report said.
