The drivers of the two 18 wheelers were not injured in the truck accident. There were no reports on the damage to the two semi trailer trucks, but at least one may have been towed from the scene.
Authorities had to shut down part of the interstate in the area around the collision while South Philadelphia Police reconstructed the truck accident. It is unclear what set off the multi truck accident.
