Trace Adkins Tour Bus Hit By Truck In Louisiana Accident – Video
IDA, LA – A fatal accident occured when two people in a pickup truck were killed after the truck ran head-on into Trace Adkin’s tour bus carrying members of the country singer’s band.
The accident occurred at 9:30 am on U.S. 71, four miles south of Ida in far north Caddo Parish, about 5 miles south of the Arkansas-Louisiana border and 33 miles north of Shreveport, LA.
Trace Adkins was not in the tour bus at the time of the accident. He had already arrived ahead of the band at Bossier City, LA for the concert at the CenturyTel Center which was the next stop.
Five band members were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries and observation.
Adkins canceled a show that was scheduled Sunday night in Pensacola, FL due to his band members injuries.
“This is a real tragedy,” Adkins wrote on his website. “Two people have been killed and I don’t even know their names,” he continues. “So out of respect for their families, I prefer not to comment too much at this time.”
