Lincoln County, MO — An accident involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon in Lincoln County left the driver of the truck with moderate injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 5 p.m. on Route V, west of Windy Hill Road. A 2006 Freightliner tractor-trailer, driven by 42-year-old Wayne Leroy of Atmore, Ala., was westbound on Route V when it traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Leroy, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital West by Lincoln County Ambulance.
